Jesus Understands us and this should be expanded to others (Hebrews 4:14-16)

 

Qt: We have a firm foundation to approach God near. Jesus understood us and died for us. So, we do not need to hesitate to come to God near. I am surprised that using the original Greek "understanding" Bible shows that this should be expanded to the relationship with others in the church. This means that our maturity belongs to the capacity to understand others. 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your only son Jesus Christ for us. In your great love, we found the solid foundation for grace. I'm sure that I can approach you near because I have grace in Jesus Christ. I want to expand my understanding and compassion for others like you did for me. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
