I want to be a biblical elder for pleasing God (Titus 1:5-10)

 

QT : Meditating this paragraph, I realized that the church elder is not exist for himself but for God. Because he is the manager of God’s household. This change everything about the ministry. I want to abandon my vision and greed and fully serve the church according to the identity God gave me. 

Every character of  the elder is resonate with me. Especially, I must not be quick-tempered and not be arrogant. It is very difficult to serve with humble attitude from my heart. So, I should reflect myself in front of God’s words everyday and every moment. 

Prayer : Heavenly Father, thank you for granting me as the elder of the church. You ordained me as the manager of your church and gave me the great honor. Sometimes, I have wandered from your holy purpose for me. Please hold me firmly with your strong hands. I want to serve your church faithfully for my lifetime. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
