Hold Firmly His Name Forever (Revelation 2:12-17)

 

Qt: The church in Pergamum’s situation was so tough. They live in the city where Satan has his throne. It means that even they are not easy to breath freely. In that time, Jesus ask them to hold his name and rely on only him. In some aspect, it is very easy. But, if they look around due to the temptation from the secular world, it will be almost impossible. Namely, there are two ways for me to live. I want to look up Jesus forever. 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your word. Thank you for letting me know that there are two ways in my life. I constantly adjust my life with your will. I want to focus only to you spiritually. I hope that only your will fill me up fully. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
